Siamak Tadayyon Tahmasebi, born in 1977 in Mashhad. An independent journalist, intelligence analyst, and somewhat of an artist. But before any profession, I consider myself an “Overthrower” who has dedicated the recent years of his life to fighting against the totalitarianism and religious tyranny of the Islamic Republic ruling Iran.
Education and Background:
Despite academic education in Computer Engineering (Hardware) and Software Engineering, I tried never to remain limited within technical frameworks. I learned to read at the age of four and have not spent a single day without learning since. Due to an excessive passion for learning, I have pursued non-academic studies in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, aviation, marine sciences, biology, intelligence analysis, world classical literature, Persian literature, and history of civilization. Overall, I have tried to turn every experience and technical knowledge into a tool for modern struggle and seeking justice, and every art into a weapon for expressing protest.
Art is the Weapon:
As a painter and calligrapher, art for me is not merely aesthetics. My works, which are a fusion of calligraphy traditions and modern forms, have shifted towards “Protest Art” in recent years to be the stifled voice of a people living under the boots of tyranny.

Explicit exposures and organizing fighters inside Iran came at a heavy cost. The Islamic Republic, using its criminal partners, sent its terror squads to Europe. In June 2023, a plot to assassinate me by several members of the international mafia was thwarted in the Netherlands through the intervention of security services and the police. This event demonstrated that the path I have taken is correct and impactful.
From 2023 to the present, due to serious life threats and the regime’s repeated attempts at physical elimination, I have been living under strict security protection in the Netherlands. Although security measures have created many limitations for my personal life, my determination to continue the struggle until the complete overthrow of the regime has become firmer. Until the day of Iran’s freedom, I will neither remain silent nor retreat.
The defendants present at the first hearing regarding the attempted assassination of Siamak Tahmasebi, a critic of the Islamic Republic, refused to provide any explanation and remained silent before the judge in the Netherlands. The session was held in a "high-security court" near Schiphol, Netherlands. Gabriel O.S. (Colombian) and Mahrez Ayari (Tunisian), the two main suspects in this terrorist attempt, refused to answer the court's questions. They had previously maintained their silence during police interrogations as well. By arresting these two individuals last June, the Haarlem police prevented the assassination of Siamak Tahmasebi, a well-known critic of the Islamic Republic. Tahmasebi, who has been repeatedly threatened due to his criticisms of the "Iranian regime," has been living in a safe house under police protection since the incident.
